There are a lot of firsts on this piece here. First time stacking mokume (copper and nickel Damascus) between steels. First time using apex ultra (a high performance carbon steel) as the core. And I can’t believe how beautifully it turned out. Between the crystallization of the copper to the amazing black ash Burl handle. This one is a stunner.
