Keyhole Feather Chef

Talk about a stunner!
This beautiful keyhole feather Damascus chef knife is a collaboration piece between myself and the amazing James Fleming of Wasteland Forge. A special piece we completed for Atlanta Blade Show with me doing the Damascus and some forging and James doing the finish work and an amazing keyhole integral handle. 
The Damascus is 1084 and 15n20 feathered and hand forged to shape. The handle is African Blackwood hand fitted into the keyhole and then shaped and faceted for awesome balance and ergonomics. This piece is just as much art as function, so don’t be afraid to utilize it because it can always be cleaned and refinished.
