Tiger Mai Santoku

HOLY GUACAMOLE!!!
For a while now I’ve wanted to try out some of this copper and bronze Damascus San mai from baker forge. It definitely doesn’t disappoint. With an 80crv2 core it is definitely tough and beautiful. At 6.75” and a little more drop than normal, this is a great mix between a Santoku and petty chef. Then the HANDLE!!! Some beautiful end grain spalted maple with an inlay of twist mokume made in house. This piece as a whole really pushed limits and I couldn’t be happier with it. It’s definitely a looker, but 100% can back that up with the work.
