Fossil Paring
All of the randomness in a beautiful package.
A lot of people call this type of canister Damascus “fossil” Damascus because when it’s done you get so many variations from one side to the other it almost looks like a rock split open with multiple fossils inside. This has some ballbearing and end cuts of other Damascus pieces and powdered steels. Sitting at 3.5” makes it ideal for trimming chicken or slicing apples. Then the handle….THE HANDLE!!!! Box elder burl dyed and stabilized blue and purple, and a spacer made in house of purple trustone and carbon fiber. Stunning all around and can back it up with the work.
Blade: 3.5”
